IIRC, Laetrile is related to bitter almonds and when digested it makes hydrogen cyanide.

That said, I gather that no-one has ever died from it, so the dose must be miniscule and may be what contributes to it's anti cancer properties.

As with everything, the dose makes the poison.

There is a couple of great videos on YT about suppressed cancer cures, covering laetrile and how it was concealed.

The Japanese scientist involved got significant results in mice, something like 60% less likely to develop cancer in mice bred to develop it.

The positive results were of course quashed.

We all know that there will never be any unbiased research into Fenbendazole, Mebendazole, Laetrile, Essiac, etc.
